Water1st exists to end the walk for water.

Around the world, women and girls spend hours each day carrying water home for their families. For decades, many solutions focused on building wells or public taps — but women consistently told us that water that must still be carried is never enough.

We partner with locally led organizations to design lasting water and sanitation systems that bring safe water directly to households, transforming health, opportunity, and dignity for generations.

Our approach grew out of lessons learned in the field and from listening to women and communities living with water scarcity every day.

Helping to break the cycle of poverty by empowering children to improve their own lives. CORE Tanzania is working to give children in rural Tanzania the chance to get a quality education.

Providing a new, high-quality local alternative that is within villagers’ means.

In keeping with the Swahili proverb, “Haba na haba hujaza kibaba“—Little by little fills the jar—we are beginning with one school in one rural community.

Bobby’s sister Deb worked with one of the founders of this compassionate and innovative non  They are helping the kids and community thrive at an individual and systemic level.

Non Toxic Kitchen

We not so long ago decided to revamp our kitchen utensils, pots, pans, glasses, dish soap, dishwasher soap, etc to eliminate known toxic substances. Coming soon the resources we used (those amazing souls who put the real work in and researched everything then shared them publicly) and a cheat sheet for the products we chose.
